About the Event
FRANCES HOLLIDAY ALFORD
Frances Holliday Alford is a multimedia artist with a specialty in fiber and textile arts. Her focus is narrative, in that the work is designed to tell its own story. She has traveled extensively and finds that new experiences both inform and suggest her work and her path, including work for the United States Peace Corps in South Korea. She has exhibited her work in South Korea, the Netherlands, France, Costa Rica, as well as the USA.
CAMPION TILLBROOK
Campion Tillbrook is a collage artist who utilizes old ephemera as his primary creative force. He has been doing this for the past twenty-five plus years, telling stories through the usage of words and images. He never knows exactly where the story is going, from when he begins until it ends: it's an unfolding. He has degrees in Political Science from UMass, Amherst Menswear Marketing and Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where he was the winner of the NAMSB award. His work is held by private collectors in the U.S and Europe.
