About the Event


Brian D. Cohen is a printmaker, painter, educator, and writer. In 1989 he founded Bridge Press to further the association and integration of visual image, original text, and book structure. Artist’s books and prints by Brian D. Cohen have been shown in over forty individual exhibitions, including a retrospective at the Fresno Art Museum, and in over 200 group shows.  Cohen's books and etchings are held by major private and public collections throughout the country. Brian is an avid collector of books and prints, rides motorcycles, and plays classical viola. He lives and works in Kennebunk, Maine, where he occasionally stares into the abyss.


Robin Price is an artist, editor, designer, letterpress printer & publisher, creating artists’ books since 1984. She measures stuff in points and picas, in degree of cognitive effort required, and when might be the next opportunity for meditation, usually through the doorway of kundalini yoga practice. Robin established her press in the Los Angeles area under the imprint Lavender Armadillo Press, later revised to Robin Price, Printer & Publisher. Since 1995, the press has been located in an historic textile mill in Middletown, Connecticut.“A chameleon among book artists,” she has a long history of collaborating with others, with extensive diversity in content and form. Her limited edition press books, prints, and unique work are collected and exhibited internationally.
